WHAT IS SOLIDWORKS
Streamline your manufacturing with SolidWorks
Using CAD software will bolster your design capabilities and coupled with DriveWorks for a streamlined manufacturing process
SolidWorks is a very popular and powerful CAD software used in a variety of industries. It is a designer’s tool to create a concept into a 3 dimensional model. We use SolidWorks as we think not only is it a great modelling tool but also what you can do further with your model.
As we professionally create 3d models, much of the work is already completed with often only a few minor adjustments needed to get a successful plastic model printed.
SolidWorks and DriveWorks
A great use for SolidWorks is for Design Automation using DriveWorks. This will allow you to have a configurator to drive your SolidWorks models dimensions and features and drawing views, sheets and Bill of Materials. Read more in DriveWorks!
3d4 has positioned itself to help you with both your SolidWorks modelling technique for configuring and also the implentatnion of DriveWorks to have a successful design automation solution.
What is DriveWorks?
DriveWorks software allows non-programmers to write simple rules to capture and reuse their intellectual property. This way you know that your clone data can be generated by the most experienced to the least experienced user and still be within you design limitations you have set. You are in control.
